Tolu Babaleye, the Director-General of the Ondo State Network for Bola Tinubu, has explained why Vice President Yemi Osinbajo transferred his political base to Ikenne in Ogun State.
According to Babaleye, Osinbajo has challenged his fate helper with his presidential aspirations and lacks electoral value in Lagos, according to Vanguard.
At what point did Tinubu, Osinbajo break ties?
I’m not aware if the connections have snapped. Tinubu, I don’t believe, is dissatisfied with Osinbajo’s performance, but many of his fans are. Ambition is a difficult thing to control, and you can’t keep a man with ambition down. The Vice President is driven by ambition and believes he can take on anyone, even his destiny’s helper and top promoter.
Reports suggest Osinbajo quietly moved his membership of Lagos APC to Ogun APC in 2021. Was that the beginning of the breaking of ties with Tinubu?
This is not the case. The truth is that Osinbajo had little electoral worth in Lagos, where he used to vote, because the Igbo are the majority.
Tinubu was the one who suggested him to move his PVC to Ogun. Nobody will be punished for declaring an intention to run for office. Even if Osinbajo wins the primary, Tinubu will be required to fly.
People should avoid causing unwarranted hostility and stress that will be difficult to resolve. The truth is that in Lagos, Osinbajo has little electoral worth. The election results from the unit where Osinbajo voted in Lagos are attached.
Relocating to Ogun is a political decision based on the expectation of greater results, not on the fear of being suspended for using his constitutional right.
The following is the outcome of Osinbajo’s unit in the 2019 presidential election: Polling Unit Code 33, Unit 2 Victoria Garden City, Lagos: Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (VP) APC – 229, PDP – 425 in presidential elections; APC – 261, PDP – 414 in senatorial elections; APC – 190, PDP – 268 in congressional elections.
Why was the step necessary?
The move was vital to ensure that he won his unit and ward in the next elections, as a politician who does not win his unit and ward is rendered irrelevant in politics.
Was it in anticipation of running for President or some other reasons?
It was only to provide him with a foundation. Osinbajo, for example, built his first residence in Ikenne during this period.

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You clearly know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?
