The founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, cannot ever be his friend, according to Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries.
During the Church’s Holy Ghost Conference 2023, which was live-streamed on YouTube, Apostle Suleman addressed his thoughts regarding Pastor Chris and emphasised that he cannot compare himself to someone who has progressed spiritually more than he has.

He went on to say that even though he respected Chris, they were not on the same level, thus he could not be friends with him.
With reference to a recent talk with Reverend John, who had just taken part in a pastor’s classroom conference, the clergyman provided some context for his viewpoint.
Over 103 million people had registered for the programme online, and by the end of the meeting, over 110 million pastors had enrolled, according to Reverend John, according to Apostle Suleman.
Pastor Chris was described as a field marshal who is in a class of his own by Apostle Suleman, who expressed surprise at how he could organise such a sizable event and noted that he is much ahead of him. As a result, they cannot be friends.
He stated: “Then I will now stand beside such a man and say, he is my friend? Never! Pastor Chris can’t be my friend. When you want to grow, stop equating yourself with those who have grown.
“That’s a field marshal, a class of his own, I am not in his class. He is in a different world. Are you trying to say that God can’t use little things to correct him? God knows who He sends little things to for correction”
