Former Niger Delta insurgent commander Asari Dokubo has stated that if Nigerians do not vote for All Progressive Congress (APC) national leader Bola Tinubu, they will be missing out on a lot.
According to InsightnaijaTV, Asari stated this in a video released on Friday, June 10, in which he asked people to vote for Tinubu after revealing the positive things he did for him while in prison.
Asari stated, ”When Tinubu was taken to the Code of conduct for trial, I trekked miles and when I entered the court, he came to embrace me after the court session.
“When I was in prison, Tinubu was so kind to me, he paid my children’s school fees, he gave me a house at VGC, he gave my wife a house at Ogba”
Tinubu defeated Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Governor David Umahi, Governor Ben Ayade, Pastor Tunde Bakare, and Senator Sani Yerima to become the party’s presidential candidate.
In the 2023 election, he will face Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the NNPP, among others.
