Vinicius Jr., a Real Madrid winger, has referred to Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain as his football hero.
Vinicius, who has had a fantastic start to the 2022–2023 season—scoring five goals and dishing out four assists in nine games—was a member of Brazil’s starting XI against Ghana last weekend, and they defeated them 3-0.
Vinicius thanked Neymar in a message sent on Monday, September 26, 2022 via his Twitter account.

For the Brazil national team, Vinicius has played in 15 games thus far, recording one goal.
Neymar, on the other hand, has participated in a staggering 120 games for his nation, scoring 74 goals and dishing out 55 assists.
The former Barcelona player is currently second only to Pele in goals scored for his nation.
