Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, pleaded with Nigerians not to believe the narrative that their nation is a failing one on Thursday night.
After stepping off of his private jet to huge cheers from his followers and some members of his Presidential Campaign Council, Tinubu made the declaration in Abuja shortly after.

In an interview with media while being greeted with cries of “Jagaban” and “City Boy,” Tinubu declared his ready for the election campaign and claimed to feel better.
The trip was fantastic, he said. My break was enjoyable. And I’m glad to be home again, where I was born.
“And Nigerians should expect a very intelligent ability to think and perform. Nigerians should expect that the help they needed is here, the hope that is almost jittering is back and back actively.
“And we hold every effort to the country of patriotism, dedication, capacity and ability to do the job. Not negative thinking, not the fact that Nigeria has failed; this country is the greatest.
“If it is to rebuild, we are builders; if it is construction, we are constructors. If it is assurance, we give Nigerians the assurance that we definitely make a better country out of it all.”
