Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential candidate, is currently relaxing in the UK before the election season.
Ayo Oyalowo, a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, made this remark while appearing on Politics Today on Channels Television.
The campaign will last for roughly four to five months until the general election, the APC chairman said on Monday, October 03, 2022; “The man, like I said, needs a few days off because the strain on him is a bit too high and he needed to recuperate,” he added.
“So, he needs to ensure that he is not worn out by the show of love, and camaraderie – too many people coming to see him. So, yes, he needed to take that breather.”

His remark came in response to the criticisms to Tinubu’s absence from the nation. The APC candidate was not there when presidential flagbearers signed a peace agreement prior to the election of next year, which sparked questions about the location and fitness of the former governor of Lagos State.
After concerns about his health surfaced, Tinubu published a seven-second training video to reassure the public that he is healthy and prepared to represent Nigeria. The video has sparked a wave of critiques.
However, the APC leader claimed that Tinubu is the “main factor” leading up to the 2023 elections.
“Two people dropped videos yesterday. Another person dropped a dancing video but nobody is talking about it because he is not a factor. Asiwaju is a factor,” he said about reactions generated by the video where Tinubu was seen on a treadmill.
“He will always be spoken about because he matters. He is the main factor in this election.”
