Amember of Lagos State Assembly representing Eti-Osa constituency 02, Mr Gbolahan Yishawu has charged Nigerians to make democracy something that can be proud of.
He disclosed this in a statement made available by his information office on the celebration of June 12, Democracy Day.
Mr Yishawu, who is the Chairman House Committee on Economic Planning and Budget urged Lagosians to support the State government through prayers and strong support for policies, as well as adherence to rules laid out by the government at these trying times.
However, Gbolahan Yishawu, particularly singled out Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a dogged and adherent Preacher, Teacher and Practicer of Democracy who prevailed on the listening Government of President Buhari to make June 12th the true Democracy Day of NIgeria.
