David Umahi, the governor of Ebonyi State, has offered his support behind state police, but believes that such an idea needs to be well-regulated in order to function in Nigeria.
He also added, during an appearance on Arise TV on Wednesday, that if state police are to be developed in the country, they must be under the jurisdiction of the federal government.
