Three individuals, including a soldier, have been arrested for criminal conspiracy, housebreaking, and armed robbery, according to the Yobe State Police.
At midnight, the culprits allegedly broke into the Damaturu home of one Hajiya Aisha Usman of Sabon-Pegi-ward.

The suspects were claimed to have carried away N250,000 in cash, a Peugeot 307 saloon car, and a Nokia handset belonging to the victim, armed with dangerous weapons including an AK 47 rifle.
According to ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, the Yobe command’s Police Public Relations Officer, the suspects inflicted grievous injuries on the victim and her 17-year-old son, Ahmed Umar, after tying them up with satellite cable wire.
