Senator Ajimobi who was suspected to be battling with Corona virus for some months was hospitalized at the First Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Consultant Hospital in Lagos on June 2, 2020.
Senator Ajimobi was the immediate past Governor of Oyo State within 2011 to 2019 and died at the age of 70 in Lagos.
It will be recalled that the former Governor of Oyo State was reported to have been tested negative for the COVID-19 but the illness and symptoms persist which cause the health of the past Governor to deteriorate.
