Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, a former governor of Enugu State and the senator for Enugu East in the Senate, has formally resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) just as he thanked his supporters for their unwavering support over the years.
Senator Nnamani stated that he had discussed his decision to leave the PDP with both his associates and constituents. He claimed that this decision was made due to irreconcilable differences with the party’s national leadership. Senator Nnamani stated that he has since moved on and hoped that his modest contributions to the development of his constituency will serve as the foundation upon which his successors can build.

In particular, the political family of the Ebeano, Senator Nnamani congratulated Nigerians and asked them to be steady in the coming years.
The former governor expressed hope that a Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration will advance good governance, the rule of law, and human rights for the benefit of all Nigerians and renewed his alliance with him. He also pledged to continue working with him.
