Adebayo Adewole, the Social Democratic Party’s (SDP) presidential candidate, has pledged to use innovations like cryptocurrencies and business partnerships to create 30 million employment.
Adebayo stated that he realised we cannot create these jobs if we rely solely on public spending when he made the promise during his appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics. He went to the National Chamber of Commerce in the US and the US Black Chamber of Commerce, two organisations he knows well and with whom he has previously worked. He has travelled the world with them to promote job development while serving as a board adviser for some of them.

“We sat down together and we looked at it in various sectors – agro-allied, alternative energy, infrastructure, health, and social services, new technologies such as block chain and crypto technology – we discovered that we can create three million jobs times 10 – 30 million jobs – using 2,000 companies and bringing the production that they are doing into the country.”
