Revolution Now Protest On Nigeria’s 61 Independence In Abuja
Protesters stormed the Dantata Bridge along Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Road in Abuja calling for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The protest came on the day the country is celebrating its 61st Independence Anniversary.
The protesters carried placards with inscription such as “Buhari must go,” “Revolution” among others.
They also made bonfires on the highway.
However, as of the time of filing this report, heavily armed policemen have dispersed the protesters with tear gas canisters.
