According to Calciomercato, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is considering signing Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
The Ligue 1 club is said to be considering offering Mauro Icardi in a cash-plus-swap deal for the Nigerian striker.
PSG are looking to offload Icardi, who is in a tumultuous relationship with his wife and agent Wanda-Nara.
They believe Osimhen, who has previously played for Lille in France, is the ideal replacement.
After struggling to adjust to Serie A football last season, Osimhen has started this season in fine form.
Osimhen moved to Napoli from Lille in 2020 for 81.3 million euros, and despite scoring 10 goals in 24 league games in his first season, more was expected of him.
With eight goals in nine games so far this season, he is finally demonstrating why Napoli paid top dollar for his services.
