President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the nomination of nine incumbent Federal Commissioners to a second term in office, and twenty (20) competent Nigerians to be appointed Federal Commissioners in the National Population Commission (NPC)
The President charges the new and returning NPC Federal Commissioners to successfully implement all measures taken by his administration to produce and effectively appropriate accurate population data with which lasting solutions to Nigeria’s socio-political and economic challenges can be developed and executed, according to Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Advisor to the President on Media & Publicity.
The NPC Federal Commissioners, both new and returning, are:
(1) Chief Justice Emmanuel Trump Eke — Abia
(2) Adamawa’s Dr. Clifford Zirra, Appointed Again
(3) Appointed Again, Mr. Chidi Christopher Ezeoke, Anambra
Barr. Isa Audu Buratai, Borno, Appointed Again
Cross River’s Bishop Alex Ukam (5)
Delta — Ms. Blessyn Brume-Ataguba (6)
(7) Jeremiah Ogbonna Nwankwegu, M.D. – Emily
(8) Dr. Tony Aiyejina, the newly appointed Edo
(9). Mr. Ejike Ezeh, Enugu, Appointed Again
(10) Mr. Abubakar Damburam, the newly appointed Gombe
Professor Uba Nnabue, Imo, has been reappointed.
