President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, September 4, 2020 endorsed the candidature of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu as the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2020 Ondo State Gubernatorial election.
President Buhari confirmed the candidature during the presentation of the party flag to Governor Akeredolu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
President Buhari who expressed his confidence in Akeredolu’s ability to serve the people and urge the Governor to ensure fairness and transparency in the electoral processes.

President Buhari also called for reconciliation with the aggrieved members of the party in other to achieve success.
