Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the Government and entire people of Ekiti State over the death of the former old Ondo State Governor, Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua who died at the age of 80.
President Buhari who stated this in a statement signed by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity Mr. Femi Adesina describe the late Evangelist Olumilua as a patriotic citizen who had played an active role in the return of democracy in the Country and served as Chairman, Christian Pilgrims Board.
The President however sympathize with the family members, friends and associates of the deceased who worked tirelessly to improve the infrastructure and livelihood of people in the State. He prayed that the almighty God will comfort the family and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
Similarly, the Chairman, House of Representatives committee Chairman on Federal Road Maintenance Agency, FERMA Hon. Olufemi Richard Bamisile has described the death of the former old Ondo State Governor, Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua as a great loss to the entire Nation and political sphere.
Hon. Bamisile stated this in a statement made available to pressmen in Ado Ekiti today June 4, 2020 noting that the former Governor of old Ondo State was a forthright, God fearing and patriotic leader who has contributed immensely to the development the State until his demise.
Bamisile explained that some of the landslide achievements of the deceased regime as Governor of old Ondo State between 1992-1993 are testimonies of his selfless service to the society and commiserate with the family of the deceased, Ekiti people, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and Nigerians at large.
