Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s nominee for president in the 2023 elections, has urged his supporters to employ any means required to further their political goals.
Tinubu exhorted top campaigners to stop at nothing and go for the throat in a widely shared video of him speaking to individuals thought to be party loyalists. In his speech to the London crowd, Tinubu yelled for the audience to “fight,” “grab,” and “run [away] with” political power.

“Political power is not going to be served in a restaurant. They don’t serve it a la carte. At all cost, fight for it, grab it and run with it,” Mr Tinubu said.
The APC nominee is seen as the front-runner for the elections of next year, but he will be up against veteran contender and former vice president Atiku Abubakar. Former Anambra governor Peter Obi is also expressing confidence in doing well in the election, which some observers believe may be heavily impacted by feelings of an ethno-religious nature.
While the opposition claims the former governor’s techniques have suffocated democracy in Lagos state and hampered its growth, Tinubu followers and admirers have continued to celebrate his strategies as evidence of his political sagacity.
