A petrol-laden tanker, on Friday, May 28, 2021 caught fire at the Otedola Bridge around the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, few days after the Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos Sector Commander, Olusegun Ogungbemide, declared that there are no demons causing accident on the road.
According to eyewitnesses, first responders have arrived at the scene and are dealing with the fire. Road users have also been advised to avoid the area.
Otedola Bridge is notorious for vehicle accidents mostly involving petrol-laden tankers and trucks that often explode, leads to burnt vehicles, loss of lives and properties
