Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), have been referred to as noisemakers who cannot win the presidency in the general elections of 2023 by a cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.
According to the Daily Post, Primate Ayodele made this statement to reporters on Saturday during the public release of his annual predictions, “Warnings to the Nations,” in his church in Lagos State.
“Peter Obi is a noise maker; he can’t make a single difference,” the cleric who had earlier in May stated that Obi could not be Nigeria’s president. Obi won’t win the election, so that’s a zero.
“Kwankwaso is also a noise maker; he can’t win the election. Tinubu, Obi, and Atiku can’t restructure Nigeria.”
Ayodele continued by warning Nigerians that the country’s issues would not be resolved by the general elections scheduled for 2023, only by restructuring.
He said that “Nigeria will still be having the same problems we are having. The solution to our problem is not the 2023 elections; it will still put us in the same problems, if not worse. 2023 elections will put us where we are with insecurity and the economy. And the solution to our problems is restructuring; we will have freedom the day Nigeria is restructured.”
