Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, received honorary citizenship for Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday, October 04, 2022 from Eric Johnson, the city’s mayor.
The mayor’s staff, Johnson, declared that Obi will maintain a position of high esteem in the hearts of the residents of Dallas city as a result of receiving the honorary citizenship.

“Today in Dallas, Texas, United States, I met with the Mayor of Dallas and his team,” tweeted Obi, who announced the award via his verified Twitter account.
“I had the privilege of being conferred with the honorary citizenship of Dallas.”
