Pete Edochie, the legendary Nollywood actor, and his wife Josephine recently celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
The ceremony, which took place in Enugu on Saturday, October 01, 2022 was attended by renowned figures including as the state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The 75 years old actor also used his Instagram account to share images from the anniversary.
Edochie thanked his wife, whom he referred to as “my queen,” for being with him for over five decades in a message that accompanied the photos.
The actor also thanked his children for organising the celebration in their honour.
“53 years of marital bliss with my queen, Chief Barrister Mrs Josephine Edochie. Thanks to my children for hosting us to the biggest party of our lifetime, yes our life because we are one,” he wrote.
“In celebration of our 53yrs of marriage and life in goodness and in good health.
“These past 53yrs, God blessed us with six biological children (among all the inherited ones and numerous grand-children)
“Five gentlemen and a beautiful adorable lady, Leo; Adam; Linc; Jean; Yul; Eva, respectively. Thank you all for celebrating with us.”
