Oba Solomon Akinola, the traditional ruler of Oyo State, will be charged with terrorism on 12 counts at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday morning.
He’ll stand trial alongside ten of his high chiefs, including Sunday Aderinto and Samson Ogunmola. Jimoh Asimiyu, Segun Gbadebo, and Oluwole Ogundeji are Timothy Adewale Aderinto, Jimoh Asimiyu, and Oluwole Ogundeji.
Akintaro Mathew Piamo, Rafiu Ganiyu, Adejare Adeleru, and Zacheus Adeleru are among the other top leaders facing terrorism charges.
The terrorism accusations were filed against them by the Inspector General of Police, and they will be arraigned before Justice Egwuatu Obiora in Abuja this morning.
The defendants allegedly attacked Aagba Community in Oyo State, kidnapped three persons, and inflicted various degrees of harm on their victims, according to the criminal allegations.
