About 239,864 people have signed a petition on change.org requesting that the British, American, Canadian, and the whole European and Asian continents withdraw Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike’s visa.
The petition’s initiator, Onyebuchi Ezeagabu, demanded the cancellation of Governor Wike’s and his family’s visas on the grounds that they were “working to disrupt the electoral process” and that they were allegedly destroying Rivers’ electoral system.

Ezeagabu penned: “The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has been operating to destroy the electoral process in the state he governs.
“We demand that the visa eligibility for him and his family be revoked immediately. He is stirring up violence in Rivers State because he feels he can travel out of the country at any time.”
He opposes democracy in Nigeria, according to a signee named Amechi Victor. He just manipulated election results.”
Ugochi Agua-Onyekwelu, another signatory to the petition, stated: “This man has caused a lot of trouble and thuggery in the Nigerian political scene. He is always inciting people against the Igbos and have actually carried out the killing of thousands of Igbo men in his state at Obigbo, PH. He believes so much in violence and talks carelessly like a lout.”
