Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the interior minister who supports the All Progressive Congress (APC) group in the state known as The Osun Progressives (TOP), has commented on the recently completed Osun governorship election.
It was deemed a fair election for the people of Osun after Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, defeated the incumbent governor.
Following the official winner’s announcement on Sunday, Aregbesola responded to the election results by declaring “Osun Le Tente” in a brief article put on his Facebook page.
Quoting from the Bible ,the Minister said “This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” (Daniel 4:17).
