Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president in 2023, has pleaded with Osun state residents to ensure that their will is upheld.
In the governor’s race for Osun State on Saturday, he urged voters to support Senator Ademola Adeleke, the party’s nominee.
At the PDP massive event in Osogbo on Thursday, Atiku and Ayu both spoke.
The PDP asserted that its candidate, Adeleke, had won the 2018 governorship election, which the APC allegedly stole (APC).
He asked everyone in Osun to maintain their resolve and prevent the APC from stealing their votes once more.
Atiku in his short remark said “Now, I have come to Osun to particularly ask you not to allow the APC to steal your victory again.
“This state is a PDP state. I have come to appeal to you that on Saturday, you vote for PDP and cross check your vote. Don’t allow rigging and APC stealing in Osun State, the Waziri Adamawa said.
The PDP’s nominee for president in 2023 also said that “The APC has been rigging the Osun election for years. The first election was rigged through the court system, and the most recent one was rigged through the voting process. I implore you to cast your ballots, protect them, and support Senator Ademola Adeleke of the PDP.
