Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s spokesperson, Laolu Akande, has revealed that the vice president’s Wednesday visit to Bola Tinubu, the APC’s 2023 presidential contender, was not political in nature.
Akande claimed in a post on his verified Twitter account that Osinbajo paid Tinubu a visit on Wednesday at his apartment in Abuja, where the two men exchanged holiday greetings.

Kashim Shettima, the APC vice presidential candidate, former House Speaker Dimeji Bankole, and other APC heavyweights were also there when Osinbajo paid a visit to Tinubu.
Osinbajo was left off the lengthy list of the APC Presidential Campaign Council after losing the party’s early June presidential primary to Tinubu.
After the formation of its Presidential Campaign Council, the APC said that Osinbajo wasn’t included on the list of its 422-members because President Muhammadu Buhari “specifically instructed” that they be left out of the Campaign Council in order to focus on the nation’s governance.
