According to Adams Oshiomhole, a former Governor of Edo state and 2023 APC senatorial candidate for Edo North, Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party, LP, is to blame for Nigeria’s high unemployment rate.
The former All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman said that Obi’s importation of finished goods contributed to Nigeria’s unemployment during the flag-off of his campaign over the weekend in the Auchi area of the State.

“Obi owns the largest retail centre in Abuja, and everything sold there is imported,” he declared.
“If he is selling imported wines, clothes and other items, he is contributing to why Nigeria is going down because he is creating jobs abroad and importing unemployment to Nigeria,” Oshiomhole said.
