The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has been honoured with the position of the Chairman, BSTAN Group, a housing development organization based in Abuja.
Oba Adeyeye, who received the organisation’s stakeholders on recently, charged every stakeholders involved in housing sector to perfect their planning and ensure proper delivery of houses in other to put an end to the menace of building collapse.
The stakeholders whom were led by the Group Managing Director, Dr. Becky Olubukola expressed their appreciation to the king, noting that the royal advised gotten will go a long way in improving the performance of the organisation.
“When you look at some parts of the Country, you’ll realize that most houses are built without proper planning which made adequate spacing needed for peaceful coexistence difficult.
“With this organisation, I am sure that houses will be built in a proper way just as it is being done globally. I am aware of the company’s ability to perform optimally and I can assure everyone that something good is happening,” the Ooni noted.
According to the MD of the group, Dr Olubukola; the group is looking at building modern houses across the Country.
“Our target is to build 500,000 modern and well planned houses across the Southwest part of the Country and we’re begining with Ile-Ife. We call on the entire public to contact us and they will be glad they did”.
