The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has on Tuesday relieved some of the aides in the Government of their functions and this is expected to take place with immediate effect.
The directives was stated in a statement through the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Segun Ajiboye noting that the affected officials are directed to submit all Government properties in their possession to the Chief of Staff to the Governor with immediate effect.
The affected officials are Mr. Olomu Bayo, Special Assistant, Special Duties, Mr. Olawale Abolade Mukaila, Special Assistant Photography, Mr. Baba tope Okeowo Deputy Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Samuel Ogunmusi Personal Assistant to Deputy Governor, Mr. Omotunmise Tokunbo Special Assistant to wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Erifeyiwa Sola Akinnugba photography wife of the Deputy Governor.
Governor Akeredolu, however sent a farewell message to the aids and urged them to remain good citizens.
It will be recalled, that the Deputy Governor of Ondo State Agboola Ajayi decamped from the All Progressive Congress, APC to join the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and promises not to resign from the Akeredolu led administration.
