The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Gubernatorial candidate in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede has charged electorates in the State to embrace transformation and support his candidature in other to ameliorate the hardship in the State.
The PDP Gubernatorial candidate stated this during a stakeholders’ briefing at the party secretariat in Akure, Ondo State capital.
Jegede who expressed his willingness to welcome anyone having interest in his candidature and emergence as the Governor of the State irrespective of the political party.
Mr Jegede added that his candidature is not for the PDP alone but to transform the entire State and run an all inclusive Government in favour of every member of the society.
He however, called on stakeholders to operate an open-door policy, in other to get more voters for the PDP in Ondo State.
According to him, “Once you get back home, open your doors and accommodate all those who genuinely show interest, irrespective of their political parties.
“As you must have noticed with the coming on board of Accord Party, many are still on their way; they will meet us in peace and together we shall march on to victory,” he enthused.
“The primary is over, and whatever happened before and during the process is over.
“Regardless of where individuals worked and the different aspirants we all supported, the PDP is now one.
“Let’s go back home where the work is, to bring out the votes and in the next few days, the structure that will represent the yearnings and aspirations of members to get the job done up to the unit level, will be announced.”
