The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi has on Thursday, July 23, 2020 commended the members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for standing firm in what he described as “struggle to liberate our State”.
Mr. Agboola in a statement by his Media Adviser, Comrade Allen Sowore said he has accepted the outcome of the PDP Governorship primary election in good faith and as the wish of the people.
Recall, the PDP Governorship primary election in Ondo State was held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 where Eyitayo Jegede SAN, emerges the winner of the primary and became the party’s candidate to contest the Governorship position with Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressive Congress, (APC).
“The people have spoken, and we accept the outcome in good faith, knowing fully well that it was a race against different forces.
“We remain undaunted and resolute about our commitment to a people oriented Government against personalized democracy.
“We wish the good people of Ondo State and the winner the best as we march on. For us, life goes on. he said.
