The Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has described the news of his disqualification from participating at the All Progressive Congress Gubernatorial Primary slated for July 20, 2020 as untrue and uncalled for.
Akeredolu in a statement by his senior special assistant on media and publicity, Ojo Oyewamide stated that the news trending on social media is a rumour aimed at distracting members of the public from focusing.
Gov. Akeredolu however appeal to all of his supporters to remain steadfast, focused and more prayerful for the protection of God especially at this period of time.
“It is a ploy to distract you. They are scavengers and will stop at nothing to sustain their trade of deceit. Ignore them. Remain firm. Be dedicated and prayerful” Akeredolu said.
