The delegation was in Abeokuta “to pay our normal respect and to continue to consult our leader, former President Olusegun Obasanjo on things of national importance and we have had a very constructive chat with him,” Tambuwal said following a two-hour closed-door meeting.
We’re in the build-up, and we’ll keep doing what we need to do to win the election, he continued.
“My message to Nigerians is that we should turn out in large numbers in February to cast our votes for Atiku Abubakar and Governor Okowa, a balanced ticket that reflects the characteristics of this nation, will provide leadership that will stabilise this nation, revive our economy, and foster more national unity.
Tambuwal made a suggestion that the party anticipated a highly enthusiastic and sizable turnout for the Lagos State Presidential campaign on Monday in Lagos.
