The All Progressives Congress has criticised the criticism of President Bola Tinubu by the candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar. The APC claims that the candidates were making “incendiary” statements to stir up the public and asked them to share ideas with the President on how to manage the economy and governance.
In an interview with Channels TV on Tuesday, Felix Morka, the national publicity secretary for the APC, asked the two opposition party presidential candidates to offer suggestions to President Tinubu rather than only criticising the government’s efforts to alleviate the nation’s economic misery.

“Opposition politics is not always about condemning,” he declared. Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi emphasised that the economic policies of this government are the cornerstone of their economic agenda. What then has transpired? Therefore, it is insufficient to only denounce; these leaders ought to be able to draw attention to it and, presuming they possess the magic bullets this administration refuses to use.
Mr. Morka bemoaned the nation’s economic suffering and rejected Mr. Abubakar’s recent critiques of the Tinubu-led APC government and economic policies, calling them “completely jaundiced by his own political self-interest.”
Atiku Abubakar needs to stop wasting words. I anticipate thoughts and specific recommendations from a man who thinks profoundly about politics, the economy, and other facets of our natural life,” he remarked.
Recently, Mr. Abubakar chastised Mr. Tinubu’s administration, accusing it of pursuing disorganised policies that were shattering hopes and driving the nation towards disaster.
