Kenneth Okonkwo, a veteran actor and spokesperson for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, has predicted that Peter Obi, the party’s nominee, will become the next president of Nigeria provided the presidential tribunal fulfils its “true bidding.”
Okonkwo recently said, “If the court of justice will live up to its true bidding of being a court of justice, I will tell you by the grace of God, Peter Obi will be the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.” He made this statement while appearing as a guest on News Central’s programme, Politics HQ.

Okonkwo argued that section 134 2b of the Nigerian constitution made it clear that a candidate should not be declared the winner of a presidential election if they did not receive 25% of the vote in the Federal Capital Territory. He urged the judiciary to save Nigeria’s democracy by carrying out its true mandate.
