Owing to a record low in which devoted previous customers left the club in favour of more recent establishments that have emerged on the island, Obinna Iyiegbu, affectionately known as Obi Cubana, the king of nightlife, has sold off a branch of his well-known nightclub, Cubana Club, which is situated on Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island.
Strangely, despite the existence of numerous other clubs and an even newer one just a short distance away, the popularity of the much newer branch, situated in Ikeja GRA, has been rising among mainland residents who choose it over other nightlife options.

Hopefully, the four weeks of the club’s inaugural celebration will bring back the lost splendour of the former Cubana club, Vaniti, which is now open for business. The businessman launched an e-hailing cab service, and it opened at the same time as the new club.
Obi Cubana, aptly named Enviable Transport Service, aims to provide transport services that are superior to those that are available now and in the future thanks to its ingrained innovations and technology. Only certain locations—Port Harcourt, Enugu, Asaba, Abuja, Lagos, Umuahia, etc.—can access the service for now.
