The battle for Dennis Osadebe Avenue has just been reignited as a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed the application filed by Obaseki and the PDP seeking to stop a case of certificate forgery brought before the court against Obaseki.
Recall that Obaseki was disqualified before the APC gubernatorial primaries on account of alleged forged certificates presented to the party.

Obaseki thereafter decamped to the PDP and secured its party’s ticket while the APC went ahead to file a case against Obaseki and the PDP for fielding a candidate with forged certificates.
This is the first contentious matter to be decided by the courts on the certificate scandal hovering over the State Governor.
