Mukaila Abdurrazak, a primary school teacher, has been detained by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zamfara Command, for allegedly defiling his 13-year-old student for three years.
Mr. Ikor Oche, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, stated in a statement made available to journalists in Gusau on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old suspect, who was the girl’s teacher both at home and at school in Gusau, allegedly took the chance to violate her on a regular basis for three years, according to Oche.
During the preliminary inquiry, he added, the suspect confessed to the crime.
Meanwhile, the command announced that it had captured three suspects in the alleged attack on Suleiman Abubakar, a member of the House of Representatives.
On Saturday in Birnin Magaji, Abubakar, who represents Gummi/Bukuyum Federal seat, and Alhaji Shehu D/Takwas, the only administrator of Gummi Local Government, were allegedly attacked.
The suspects allegedly assaulted the two and shattered the windscreen of an official car with the registration number GMM 03 LG, according to the statement.
It stated that after an investigation, all of the accused would be charged in court.
