The Federal Government has announced that the rollout of Batch C Stream 2 Npower recipients has begun in batches via the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS).
The National Social Investment Program of Nigeria is a social welfare initiative established in 2015 by the Federal Government of Nigeria under the supervision of the National Social Investment Office. The Program was established to ensure more equal resource distribution to vulnerable populations such as children, youth, and women.
On Friday, September 02, 2022, NASIMS announced this while responding to beneficiaries’ questions on the Official Npower Facebook page.
The Npower Management asked the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries to be patient and to check their NASIMS Profiles as frequently as possible for their Deployment Details.
NASIMS vested the Deployment of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries to Places of Primary Assignment closer to their Residential addresses on the State Focal Persons, while it (NASIMS) publishes the Deployment Details on the NASIMS Portal for the Npower beneficiaries to access.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari established four projects to combat poverty and promote economic development. The N-Power (Nigeria) initiative gives job training and education to young Nigerians, as well as a monthly stipend of 30,000 Nigerian naira.
The Conditional Cash Transfer programme directly assists the most vulnerable people by delivering cash with no strings attached to individuals in the lowest income bracket, thereby reducing poverty, improving nutrition and self-sufficiency, and promoting development through increased consumption. The Government Enterprise and Empowerment Initiative (GEEP) is a microlending investment programme aimed at entrepreneurs, with a particular emphasis on young people and women.
