Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State wants Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunities provided by Covid-19 to further explore their individuals strength and potential.
He gave the advice when the National President of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Otunba Toyin Akomolafe led some board members of the Chamber on a courtesy call on him at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja.
Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that while the ongoing covid-19 pandemic has had a lot of negative impact on us, it has also challenged people to look inward and discover ways to utilised opportunities.
Otunba Akomolafe who had earlier commended the Sanwo-Olu administration for its efforts in combating the pandemic, said the visit was aimed at soliciting Government’s support in getting a permanent site for the Chamber which has been in existence in the Country for the past 60years.
Correspondent Omolara Omosanya quotes Otunba Toyin Akomolafe as saying that Lagos has maintained it’s status as the economic capital of the Country and with the drive of the current administration, the State has the potential to become a global economic giant.
