A Nigerian politician named Daniel Ukpera has been heavily criticized for donating ropes to residents of his community.
Daniel Ukpera is a Benue State politician. In 2019, he contested for the Guma State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly elections under the platform of Labour Party (LP).
He eventually lost to the People’s Democratic Party contestant, Hon. Bem Benjamin Mzondu.
Ukpera not only donated the ropes but helped his constituents how to use the rope on their goats. After teaching his constituents how to use the ropes he decided to take a picture of his generous donation.
According to reports, Ukpera gifted his constituents the rope in Markurdi Local Government to help in the adhering to the Benue State Anti Open Grazing Law.
