According to a press release from the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC), about 72 legal practitioners in Nigeria will be sworn in as Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN) on December 8.
The LPPC has constitutional authority to bestow such titles.
The affected persons, according to Hajo Sarki Bello, Esq, Acting Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court/Secretary, Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee, “stood out in their legal profession” and will be coronated by Nigeria’s Chief Justice, Tanko Muhammad.
Ten of them are educators.
