Due to low registration, the National Examinations Council (NECO) has moved the 2023 National Common Entrance Examinations (NCEE) to Saturday, June 3, 2023.
NECO’s spokesman Azeez Sani confirmed the exam’s rescheduling in a succinct statement on Wednesday, attributing the decision to the exam’s low registration rate. He added that states with low registration will be given the chance to register their students for the exam.
The examination, which determines admission to the Federal Unity Colleges throughout the federation, was supposed to start on Saturday, April 29, as originally planned.
While saying that additional candidates will continue to be registered until the new date of the examination, he advised all candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and other pertinent stakeholders to take note of the new date for the examination.
