‘Idan’ is a street slang phrase used frequently in Nigeria that has recently gained popularity on social media. It serves as a way to express gratitude for something or respect for prosperous people and their achievements.
However, President Tinubu is not the only well-known Nigerian since the launch of the Twitter alternative app a few hours ago. Other well-known public figures have now joined the app’s new wave, including Mr. Macaroni, Woli Arole, Linda Ikeji, and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
The number of users on Threads, which reached 10 million within the first seven hours after its inception, is still growing. As of this writing, President Tinubu’s Threads account has over 29,000 followers, just hours after it was created.
