Big Brother Naija reality show star and the grandson of the late Obafemi Awolowo, Seyi Awolowo, has shared his childhood troubles, saying that his father disowned him a few times.
Speaking about his difficult childhood in a polygamous household, reality star Awolowo asserted in an interview with a well-known media personality – Chude Jideonwo that his father maintained meticulous records on every kid.

“My father disowned me a couple of times, he claimed. Not just me, a couple of us because my father married three wives.
“My father wrote letters to cut off his children, reducing our identities to mere names on a list. We all have files. ‘As of right now, your name is just Seyi, full stop’”
