His Excellency Samuel Uche claims that his abductors were paid an N100 million ransom by the Methodist Church of Nigeria, where he serves.
The pastor was kidnapped in Abia but was released when the ransom was paid in cash on Monday.
He revealed the news at a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday.
“The monies were arranged in five sacks of N20 million,” the cleric told Channels Television.
He admitted that God was the one who had rescued his life.
He also regretted the fact that security authorities were unable to assist him.
The Christian Association of Nigeria had previously urged President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to put an end to the kidnappings of priests and Nigerians.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say you have done a awesome job with this. Additionally, the blog loads very fast for me on Chrome. Superb Blog!
