Veteran actor and former Delta Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Richard Mofe-Damijo while commiserating with victims and families of the gruesome attack on worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, which left scores dead stated that the insecurity exposes how fragile the citizens are considering the spate of attacks.
He described the attack as a terrible incident that has left the people heartbroken and devastated.
The actor in his Instagram post stated that “our sanity is once again tested in our motherland”.
He wrote;
“Our sanity is once again tested in our motherland. The terrible incident that happened in owo, Ondo state has left us heartbroken and devastated”.
The insecurity in this country has shown us how fragile we all are. God’s sanctuary was desecrated as owo cried blood yesterday”.
“May the wounded be healed. May souls of the dearly departed find rest. May those left bereft, find solace”.
