Manchester United suffered utter humiliation at the hands of former manager José Mourinho on Sunday, whose Tottenham Hotspur side ran out 6-1 winners at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes gave United the dream start by scoring in the second minute, but it all went downhill for the home side thereon. Tanguy Ndombele two minutes later and Son Heung-min scored in the 7th minute to give Spurs a 2-1 lead.
Matters went from bad to worse for United as Anthony Martial was sent off for an altercation with Erik Lamela and Spurs seized control of the game. Harry Kane joined the party as he struck in the 30th minute and Son bagged his second goal seven minutes later.
The second half was more of the same as Serge Aurier and Kane netted one each as Spurs strolled to a commanding win.
