After receiving criticism online for his inflammatory comments, talent management Teebillz, who had previously defended Nigerian artists Naira Marley and Zinoleesky on social media, has issued an apology.
In the beginning, Teebillz, the ex-husband and former manager of the well-known singer Tiwa Savage, criticised cancel culture and pleaded with Nigerians to pardon Naira Marley for allegedly enraging Mohbad before the latter’s death.
Many Nigerians were outraged by Teebillz’s defence of Naira Marley and Zinoleesky, and they vented their anger on social media.
However, it seems that the talent manager has had a change of heart as a result of the online criticism.

In a recent development, Teebillz apologised for his earlier post’s insensitivity, expressed regret for any offence caused, and made it clear that he didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings or opinions. He posted the apology on his social media accounts.
Instead, he expressed his wish to provide the young artists with support and assistance while highlighting the significance of mental health in the events leading up to Mohbad’s passing.
Teebillz statred: “I’m sincerely sorry for the insensitivity of my earlier post! I don’t mean to undermine anyone’s feelings or opinion… I just rather be of help to this young man than judging him based on association alongside being a product of his environment!!! MENTAL HEALTH played a major role in MOHBAD’s last days whether you agree with me or not! ZINO is definitely feeling the impact too mentally now!!! My heart also goes out to SOLID STAR…
